On May 19, 2019 at Trinity Center for Urban Life, Al-Bustan presented a one-of-a-kind musical exchange featuring three phenomenal instrumentalists: Gao Hong on pipa, Issam Rafea on oud, and Hafez Kotain on percussion. The entire concert was improvisational. The delightful rapport between the musicians as they communicated with each other through their instrument enraptured the attentive audience.
