At Princeton University on November 9, 2018, Al-Bustan was pleased to re-present Of Roads and Homes since its premiere in Philadelphia to an enthusiastic audience! This moving music composition, the latest work by Kinan Abu-afach, is part of the (DIS)PLACED: Philadelphia | Expressions of Identity in Transition project.
The exuberant performance at Princeton’s majestic Richardson Hall featured Kinan Abu-afach (cello) Issam Rafea (oud), Hafez Kotain (percussion), Vasko Dukovski (clarinet), Rebecca Harris (violin), Veronica Jurkiewicz (viola), David Brodie (bass), with Denise Valentine (narration).
