Andrea Cantor of Philly Weekly stopped by Preston & Market Streets to chat with eL Seed and lean about the (DIS)PLACED project.
“I feel like Philadelphia is such a complex city. There is a struggle that I have not felt anywhere else,” said Seed. “They were super concerned with the mural, and what it would represent, if it was going to represent them, and be relevant to them. I think there’s a sense of belonging, a sense of ownership, because they have a sense of ownership of the space, and they still want to own the place.”
