Al-Bustan says Ahlan!(Welcome) and invites the Philadelphia area community to experience Arab arts and culture!
Featuring Al-Bustan artists, master teachers, and students, this participatory showcase event celebrates the work of Al-Bustan and brings together families and individuals for an afternoon of friendship, art-making and live music.
2:00 – 5:30: Art-making Stations with Teaching Artists:
- Arabic Calligraphy
- Geometry and Pattern-Making
- Mosaics
- Arabic Alphabet Photo Booth

Performances:
- 2:30 – 3:15 Drumming Demonstration and Circle – Bring Your Own Drum
- 3:45 – 4:45 Performance by Al-Bustan Takht Ensemble with Penn Choir and Moffet Choir – with audience sing along!
